Monica Nagy is the Director and CEO of Heart-Forward, a nonprofit dedicated to making transformative retreat experiences accessible to everyone.

With over 20 years of experience supporting CEOs at renowned Napa Valley wineries, Monica built a strong foundation in leadership, strategy, and project management. In October 2021, she retired from the wine industry, feeling called to pursue work rooted in deeper purpose and service.

In 2022, Monica traveled to the Amazon Rainforest to assist Jade Chen at a retreat called Sanctuary. Witnessing the profound healing experienced by participants and feeling inspired by the surrounding community, she was moved to find ways to make these experiences of peace and healing more accessible. From this vision shared with co-founders Jade Chen and Julie Baldia, Heart-Forward was born.

Monica is a Reiki Practitioner and Certified Sound Healer. A life-long resident, she resides in Napa with her husband and is surrounded and supported by her family.
